I inspected, and the battery compartment is nice clean see exhibit photo. I was unable to test, as don't have any base station radio transmitters with the familiar 8 pin connector try it. The buttons are all free and working, lock down button has a nice positive on off wires still flexible no splits or frays one of strain relief jackets few cracks, but its purely cosmetic base station built in preamps, that uses 2aa batteries.
Very clean base and chrome, only a few unnoticeable nicks bit of dust in places. Everything in photo is included, along with a nice photocopy of the original MC-60a manual.
A nicely cared for Kenwood MC-60 Pitt base station microphone in good condition. This one looks excellent, and barely shows its age.
