So heres the story on this tnc: I had big ambitions of getting into packet radio about 10 years ago. Also included with the tnc is some sort of cable adapter. These tnc were very popular and are well supported throughout the amateur radio community. I purchased it at a ham fest, used, from another ham who assured me works well.

As you can see in the pictures, some sort of cable adapter has two rca plugs, 1/8 audio jacks labelled, a din connector that connects this device to tnc and an 8-pin microphone. Up for offer here is my MFJ-1278 multi-mode data controller.

This tnc has literally sat on a shelf in my basement for about 10 years. Since then i've moved, gotten married, moved again, had 3 kids, switched jobs, etc. In fact, I was going to use this tnc with the Kodak 2m radio sold on recently.

And I haven't had a chance to work on this project.
