This listing is for the Ten Tec 405 amplifier a printed copy of tt manual. This is being sold as-is in non-working condition. Rare Ten Tec model 405 linear - needs tlc. It should be connected to the RF sense board but is not.

I do not know if this is the problem, but it a good place to start. It is a no tune amplifier that will operate on all hf bands from 80 to 10 meters. It is matched in size and meant to be used with the Ten Tec Argonaut, but can easily any radio putting out at least one watt. In other words, it does not have a cable for 'relay pick line' like most hf amps - this amp, vhf 'bricks' senses the RF when you talk or key radio and picks relay to engage amp.

That part is not working. It powers on like should but does not detect the RF signal being inputted to so never picks relay bring inline. TN for your interest on this item.

Anyway, this Ten Tec 405 linear amplifier, when working, will take a RP signal of 1 to 3 watts and amplify it 50 output. E-mail for any questions.
