The Icom UT-106 digital signal processing dsp module is a powerful standard feature for 706mkiig transceiver. The AFN function can be turned on or off via menu. Both AFN and NR features are accessed through the transceivers display menu.

NR noise reduction reduces components and picks out desired signals which are buried in. Works in Sb, FM and am modes. Look at my other offers. Works in all modes.

For NR, set the desired noise reduction level. The received AF signals are converted to digital and then desired separated from noise. What you see in the pictures is this offer.
