The fan is about 25mm thick.

It does not modify the amplifier or radio. The fan will come on an off with the transceiver. The fan is has four silicone feet and is simply set on top of the sb the fan draws minimal current 0.

This is an accessory for the heathkit sb 220 when used with icom transceivers. When used, warm air is drawn from the top of the amplifier cabinet and cooler air enters the cabinet from below. It is a small 12 volt fan that turns on and off with the icom transceiver.
